We are seeking a User Researcher to join Vinted Go, a new brand and business of Vinted, focused on developing products and solutions for more convenient, affordable, and sustainable shipping and delivery across Europe. As a User Researcher, you’ll be responsible for voicing and advocating users' and partners’ needs, ensuring they are heard and used in the decision-making process company-wide. 

 

You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers, while working closely with another user researcher to conduct research in three Vinted Go domains. You will also be part of the larger Vinted Research team supporting Vinted Marketplace, including a Research Operations specialist, Market researchers, and User researchers. You’ll report to the Director of Vinted Research (capability manager) and closely collaborate with the Design Director at Vinted Go (value creation manager).

 

In this position, you’ll 

  • Carry out generative and evaluative research, focusing on mixed or quantitative methods. 
  • Explore both digital and offline shipping experiences.
  • Study a range of audiences, including B2C and B2B segments: end-consumers and partners, such as shop owners, drivers, and warehouse workers.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations through clear reports and presentations and activate them through workshops.
  • Collaborate with researchers and designers on qualitative projects, lead quantitative research initiatives, and centralize research knowledge.
  • Regularly provide and solicit feedback to enhance the quality of research and design, reinforcing a culture of user-centricity.

 

About you 

  • Possess 2+ years of experience designing and executing user research studies in a business setting.
  • Skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research methods; any additional market research experience is beneficial.
  • Hold a degree in sociology, psychology, human-computer interaction, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage simple to medium-complexity research projects independently.
  • Able to translate research insights into clear and actionable business and product recommendations. 
  • Excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Adapt easily to various research topics and changing priorities.
  • Fluent in English, with French, Spanish, or Italian language skills as a bonus.
