Product Designer 

Salary £50,000 - £60,000 

 

We are currently recruiting for a Product Designer to be a part of our User Centred Design team, working in the General insurance space. Your role will involve working on web-based Quote & Pay journeys.   

 

This is truly an amazing opportunity to enhance your skills and experience whilst working in a very supportive, friendly and innovative team! You will be provided with the prospect to flex/learn new skills on the products and across the different teams.  

 

We are flexible with industry background; however, you would need good working knowledge of Figma and a solid background in UX and designing with design systems.   

 

A bit about the job: 

The User Centred Design team are responsible for defining how our customers, partners and employees interact with our products and services. The team has a global impact, with their work reaching customers in Ireland, Canada and the UK. 

 

As a Product Designer within the General Insurance team, you will ensure our products and features are valuable for people, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. You’ll be expected to work closely with colleagues from Research, Product Management, Engineering, Data and QA - driving all stages of the design process. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects within a small team that reports into the design lead.  

 

Skills and experience we’re looking for: 

  • Experience with Figma is essential for the role 
  • Comfortable with building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders 
  • Ability to problem solve - define problems and have a good understanding of user centred design in order to deliver high quality design 
  • Enjoy working in a team, along with working alone or with others to deconstruct briefs, then define and deliver designs using best practice user centred design methodologies 
  • Confident with leading or supporting a user centred methodology project from discovery to delivery and know where and when to engage additional expertise, along with facilitating workshops

  • Starting salary between £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
