We are looking for a talented and creative Junior Designer to join our team and contribute to a variety of exciting and impactful projects. As part of the design team, you will play a crucial role in crafting event branding, promotional materials, and digital assets that bring our events and programmes to life. You’ll have the chance to showcase your creativity, refine your skills, and work on projects with real-world impact.

Encode Club is a leading developer education company in Emerging Tech. We work with top companies in Web3 and AI to organise programmes such as hackathons, bootcamps, and accelerators, designed to help talented individuals advance their skills and careers. Each quarter, over 10,000 participants engage in Encode’s programmes, benefiting from our commitment to high-quality, community-driven education.

📌 Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Design to develop brand design concepts and strategies that align with Encode Club's identity and goals
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining an organised and efficient workflow and meeting deadlines
  • Refine and iterate on design projects based on feedback, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Create visually engaging materials and assets for our educational programmes, marketing campaigns, and other initiatives
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency and adherence across all channels
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends and best practices, incorporating fresh ideas and innovation into your work

🤓 About You

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional with a solid foundation in graphic or visual design.
  • A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and a strong understanding of design principles and composition.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, with a passion for keeping up to date with design trends and industry developments.
  • A creative problem-solver who can think critically and deliver innovative and visually compelling design solutions.
  • Proficient in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, or equivalent tools.
  • You have a portfolio of work that demonstrates conceptual thinking, creativity, and attention to detail across digital and print assets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and take feedback constructively.
  • Highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects, managing your time efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  6. 💃 Final 1-hour in-person interview in London (expenses covered)
